AIWriteBook is an AI book writer built by two people who write books themselves, and an AI story generator for the fiction half of that work.

I’m Mykyta. I was an author before I was a founder, and that order matters.
I have published two books. The first, The Rational Software Engineer, I wrote the long and lonely way, before AI could hold a paragraph together. The second, Full-Stack Web Development, I wrote once AI was around to help. Both are technical books, and between them they taught me the two halves of this problem from the inside.
The first half is what it costs to finish a book alone. Nobody is waiting for it. Nobody notices if you stop. Most books that never get written die that quietly.
The second half I learned on the second book, when I finally had a machine to ask. I asked, and I got back slop. The same phrases on repeat. Dialogue with nothing behind it, a voice that belonged to nobody. If you have ever typed an idea into a “get a book in one click” tool and closed the tab feeling a bit insulted, I have been there too.
The draft was never really the problem, and that is what nearly every AI writing tool still misses. Even when the machine hands you 40,000 words, you still have to make them sound like you. Then you are alone again with the formatting, the cover, the KDP metadata, the audiobook, and the small matter of reaching an actual reader. The AI tool is long gone by then.
I am an engineer as well as an author, and so is Artem, my co-founder. In the summer of 2025 we built an AI writing pipeline for ourselves. We did not sell it to anyone. We used it to produce books for NanoReads, our own reading platform, where more than 103,000 readers now browse. That is a hard place to test a book. Slop gets ignored in about four seconds.
That is what pushed us into the hard part. Anyone can generate words now. Keeping one author’s voice steady from the outline through every chapter and every edit is a different job.
At some point we noticed the pipeline was writing better books than anything we could find on the market. A few writer friends asked to use it. They stayed. So at the end of 2025 we opened it to everyone.
Today a bit more than 1,300 authors and small publishers pay for AIWriteBook, more than 50,000 books have been written with it, and we hold a 4.6 on Trustpilot. One reviewer put the common thread better than I can: “it actually learns my specific style. Once you teach it your voice, it feels like a genuine writing partner.” Another, who has published over 250 books, called it the best AI writing software they have used.
What I did not expect was the interviews. We talk to our authors a lot, and almost nobody is here to generate content. One man is writing fifty books before he turns fifty, so his kids can look back one day and see what their dad had in him. One woman finished a manuscript she started in 1985. Another had carried a book in his head for twenty years and just needed a way to get it out to people. The two fears that had stopped every one of them for years were identical: never finishing, and the result not sounding like them.
That is the whole job, honestly. Get them to finished without taking the book away from them.

And you stay the author. You edit the outline before a single chapter is written. You regenerate, rewrite, or hand-edit any chapter you want. Fiction, non-fiction, book series and illustrated visual books like children’s books, cookbooks and comics are all first-class. The machine does the mechanical work, and everything that shapes the book stays with you. It is the only way I have seen a voice survive a machine.
